You're way over my head...
What is gnutella? What are Aquisition or Limewire?  Are those programs that let 
me find
the soundtrack or let me copy it or both?

Copying the dvd to hard disk would be huge, wouldn't it? I mean, a 2 hour 
movie? gigs and
gigs and gigs?

I was thinking since the sound plays through the speakers, is there a way to 
have the
microphone record what the speakers are playing as the DVD plays?
