Thanks to all who helped with my hard drive issue. I yanked the old 40GB
Quantum drive and shipped it off to be replaced under warranty (nothing I
tried would resurrect it). Then I got a new 120GB for the second drive bay
for 1/3 of the cost of the 40GB drive! Amazing how quickly things change!

Remember the two most important things in life:
      1. Don't tell everyone everything you know
      2.

The software box said, "Windows XP or better," so I bought a Macintosh.
