GPS = Global Positioning System, a computer that can communicate with orbiting sattelites to triangulate your position on the globe within a few feet. As far as sorting the abbreviations (why is abbreviation such a long word?), I would select all, copy the text and paste into a spreadsheet - each term should automatically paste into its own cell - and then use the spreadsheet's sort function. Once sorted, select all, copy and paste back into a word processing document. Bryan C.
