Henri,

I can pretty much confirm that Memorex CD/R are garbage IMHO. A friend  
of mine had the same Iomega CD/R that I believe you have and had the  
same problems. On my machine (PowerBook G3/400 Firewire, External SCSI  
8x CD/R (w/Adaptec PCMCIA card), I had more coasters with Memorex than  
with any other. I have had no problems with Imation CD/R discs (my  
preference) or with Fuji (have not tried Verbatim).
