Sorry about any confusion...
David did not mention which printer he was referring to. I did not wish
to respond with info about one, when he may have been talking about
another (one of the older ones, plenty of which are still out there in
use). And we are in complete agreement (I believe thus far have always
been) about the electrostatic charging not having anything to do with
sensing the ink levels....
