We could have met Ward, your name sounds familiar, but I'm one of those people who sometimes has trouble remembering his sister's name, so I can't say.
I hope I didn't give the impression that _I_ was unhappy with service I'd received. That is not the case. However, when I sent a relative newby (a client of mine) over there with the instructions "Tell them you have a B/W G4 and need a firewire CDRW and they'll take care of you." the result was as I described before. In fact, she later bought at least three computers through the mail that would have been bought there if she'd left the place happy. Later, when I visited the store, I shared this information along with contact data so that relationship repairs could be done, but they weren't. Like I said before, I have a bias in favor of local businesses. It seems that in addition to the 'puter wonks who need to be there to keep me happy, there needs to be at least one person who's happy working with the elementary crowd. Actually, I'd guess the latter is more important to your business in the long haul. Bill Holt | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be January 28.
