A year ago Hamrick Software, maker of VueScan, told me there was a bug in the beige G3s that made the beige G3s unable to use SCSI with OSX.
Now in the latest version's release notes, I see this: "Note that the driver for the beige G3 built-in SCSI has bugs on Mac OS X 10.1 which have been fixed in 10.2." I don't think I had tried VueScan since I got Jaguar, so I turned on the Epson SCSI scanner and did a cold boot. No luck for me. Neither Profiler nor VueScan could see the scanner. Maybe others will do better. Allan Atherton | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be January 28. The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>.
