Thanks Harry. Last night's program was great. I learned a lot about Mail, which is the mail application I use (to a very limited degree). Today I finally had a reason for creating a mail folder in which to store certain messages. I also found out that you can make subfolders. It is all very simple using Mac OS x 10.2.3.
While in Mail, go to Mailbox in the Menu bar. Click on New Mailbox and in the box that comes up name your new folder. You will also see the following message: You create subfolders by entering a name with slashes in it. For example, ?Personal/Fun? creates a folder named ?Fun? inside of a folder called ?Personal?. So, now that you have created a new Mailbox (be sure you clicked on "OK"), retype the name of the new Mailbox followed by a / and type the name of the subfolder. Following the example you were using last night that would be Lucy and Lucy/Money. Now I have to start working on those Rules. However I think I can probably get along just moving selected messages to the new mailboxes. By the way. I think I have finally become a full fledged Internet user. I finally received mail for some wealthy Nigerian military widow trying to get her money out of the country.
