Mail.louisville.edu is an smtp server, not an incoming mail server. You 
have to find out which machine she wants to read her mail from -- 
probably athena or groupwise -- but there are many others possible.

Why don't you use IMAP instead of POP? It's far more flexible and will 
work with both athena and groupwise mail.
