Hi all, It seems as though the ethernet link is "down" on my mom's G4. The cable modem gets a signal from the cable company but the modem and the computer can not see one another. The Insight tech told me to look under the Apple System Profiler under Network and it says that the Ethernet link is "down". Is there a way to make the link "up"? Or is the ethernet port just fried and I need to get it fixed. I also went out and bought another cable modem and it couldn't see her G4 either although Insight could see the modem. Any advice would be appreciated.
