I have installed Tiger on a number of iMacs in the past from a iBook without any problems. Configuration should be the same. Be sure you select in the options to erase disk first. I have used disks that came with the Power Book and a regular Tiger install version without any problems. The upgrade has given me problems both times I have tried to upgrade.
