Ok, I did exactly as you said with the path... BINGO!

Now, are you ready for this?

I get the setup assistant, it already has the previous information, name,
addy, email, yada, yada, I click to register..... it goes.... then I get a
screen that says..............

Your Mac is already set up for you..... Go Enjoy your Mac...

ROFL..... ALL that, just to find out it had already been done.... LOLOLOL
So I really missed nothing... LOL

Too funny.....  And now, I really am going to go get some more RAM (well
after dinner)..... that beach ball is appearing MORE and MORE......

I'll let you know how the installation of that goes.  I have the book.... If
I can just remember to touch metal on the inside..... I should be okay.  BIG
WARNING about static and Discharge..... don't want to fry the Mac or ME! LOL
