I use AppleWorks, and after failing with Lee's suggestion, I just 
clicked on the draw tool and drew short lines where needed. But if I can 
get the character palate to work in AppleWorks I may go back and redo them.

It looks to me that it works in Thunderbird. I couldn't get the extended 
keyboard method suggested by Lee to work.


?, ?, ?, ?, ? works in Thunderbird with the Character Palate, but not in 
AppleWorks.
(Can you see the lines (2 rows) above the vowels with macrons? Strange. 
Also Thunderbird's spell check sees these as E?nne, E?, etc.
