As a by product of a new job, I have a new powerbook and can get back
into the world of the Mac. It's a shiny new 15" and it's amazin how
just getting off the clunky old titanium and decripit dell has kicked
me into development life again.

It's my first time in Tiger though, and I've hit a few questions so far:

* F8 through F11 are supposed to do Expose things, but when I press F8
to F10, all I get is a transparant icon on the screen with a 'No
Entry' style sign below it. Any idea how I get the expose features to
work?

* F7 has a pair of overlapped windows. Any idea what it's for? I can't
find anything using just F7 in the Sys Prefs->Keyboard->Shortcuts
dialog.

I'm still dithering as to which of Yahoo Widgets (formerly
Konfabulator) or Dashboard to use. The only other Tiger thing that has
an effect on me is that I can now run Java 5.0.

Thanks,

Hen
