There has been some wondering about the news of recently found security
exploits in Mac OS-X. So far Apple has not released an update that
address the two recently found problems, but should do so soon. The
most recent exploits can actually do some damage to you by way of
running applications on your machine (if you think that wiping your
home directory is a problem, it is, but more of an annoyance, having
someone use Mail to send your address book contacts various files on
you computer could potentially be a bigger problem).

There are two third party solutions out there that will deal with these
issues until Apple releases a solution.

http://isophonic.net/ (The program is called Don't Go there
GURLfriend).
http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/pa/ (The program is called
Paranoid Android)

The second one does not indicate how to un install it so that you can
get your system back to the way is was to then apply the patch Apple
will provide. If you are safe in your internet surfing, then you can
wait for Apple to fix things, but if you live on the edge , then you
might want to consider these.

AS ALWAYS, USE CAUTION WITH THINGS LIKE THESE.

                        Jerry

Someday, I will come up with a clever signature line. I am not sure if
I will use it or not, but I will come up with one.
