The first update for Panther is out. It is supposed to fix issues that 
some folks were having with FireWire 800 drives being plugged into 
FireWire 400 ports, FileVault, Printing, etc.
It is available via SUPP and should be available via Apple's web-site 
soon enough.

SUPP tip for Panther users: It used to be that under Jaguar, one could 
download the SUPP updates to the desktop, install them later and save 
the packages (Just In Case) or you could install them directly from 
SUPP and lose the package.  Apple has now made this an option for doing 
both in the new and improved version of Panther's SUPP. You can 
download and install and save the package all at once (it is an option 
listed in the SUPP Update menu).
