My husband's ibook locked up, and when we restarted we get the blinking question mark. We have tried starting up from the CD (running 10.3), but it does not seem to recognize any startup disk. I have tried the 10.0 CD, the 10.1 CD, and the 9.2 CD. I found on Apple how to hold down option at startup and bring up the Startup Manager, but again, it will not read a startup disk. Any other suggestions or do we need to take it on a little trip to MacTown?
