The results you get from DSL and Cable are much better in the 
Louisville area than they were even 1 year ago (I cannot comment on 
comparing Satellite results from last year to now because the person I 
knew that was using it has since moved). For DSL users, download speeds 
will depend on which company you are using.... for example win.net 
recently upgraded their service tremendously to compete with other 
local DSL providers, but you should still contact each one to get an 
estimate of what the speeds will be. One certain advantage that DSL 
does have over Cable is that with DSL you can run home server services 
TO the internet (-- cable companies frown on doing this --).
