Jan, My son-in-law is running 10.2.6 and he has just bought a new Epson scanner that does the negatives very well, along with slides and prints. My wife and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and he learned and put together an unbelievable movie from iLife and it wowed the many folks at the surprise party they gave us. It was most professional and from this he has gotten at least three new jobs from others...so I know he understands most all you might like to ask.
I don't remember the model number but you can email him direct and explain that I sent you to him. jbachman at aye.net will do the trick.
