Hi Bernie,

It looks like you had purchased in the past an AppleCare contract covering
some equipment you own (like your iMac).  With that purchase, you were sent
the CD which you are now holding.  Contained on that CD is a "stripped down"
version of Techtool Pro, a diagnostic utility similar to Norton's Utilities.

I'd boot from it and give it a whirl.  It won't hurt anything and it may
help.  And I would hold on to it for a rainy day.
