I have .mac. I surely didn?t pay for the service. It was given to me as a perk, by MarketSource.
I have to tell you all I use is my email account. And a bit of idisk. -The backup software that is included is ok for (very) light duty backup. -The extra idisk space is good but not worth the price. Especially since I only use about 10 meg. -Virex Virus scan is mediocre. I'm not sure how many viruses affect OS X, not too many, If I were to guess. -icard and homepage, ehhh, Ive never used homepage. Icard doesn?t off many cards. Its too basic. IMHO, 49 hard earned dollars is still too much. Im not complaining, but c'mon, theres just not enough value here to justify the the price. All in all its a real good idea.
