Apple choose to not provide it's designated Forums (Helper) a courtesy .mac account, who were however, required to maintain a public address. I resigned my (Helper) post over that and other inequities in the way Apple deals with it's user base and volunteers. Why pay to advertise Apple with a .mac public address, and for the use of mediocre services at $49 today, and $100 next year? The services and fee's are only appropriate for entry level users.

Personally I would prefer support for real world peripherals and software than all this iToys nonsense.
