I don't know why it doesn't work for you, Jonathan, but I routinely
translate directly from fp3 to fp7 with no difficulty. Just did
another batch to check my memory. Process: Have FMP-8 (or 7) open;
drag and drop the fp3 files (from FMP-3 or FMP-4) onto the program
icon. Follow on-screen instructions about renaming files and saving
new files.
