Hi, this might be what you are looking for. I went to Home folder/library/safari and there is a file named History.plist select it, go to get info and lock this file. Note: clear your history first before you do this.
Now, every time you quit safari, nothing will be saved to the history file. Hope this works, David --- b3 <b3studios at gmail.com> wrote: > I cannot figure out how to get Safari to clear it's > history after > quitting the application. > > I seem to remember that I had this enabled before, > but after > migrating to the new machine, cannot figure out how > to do it, other > than manually. > I hate typing in an address and getting > auto-completes for every page > that I've been to. > > I remember the auto-completing only coming up for > addresses in my > bookmarks before. > > I'd rather not enable the "private browsing" (or as > i like to call it > "porn browsing") because I like to have passwords > and the like saved. > > Am I imagining this "clear browser history on exit" > feature, or does > it exist? > > Rick > > > | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer > Society will > | be June 27 at Pitt Academy, 6010 Preston Highway. > | The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>. > | List posting address: > <mailto:macgroup at erdos.math.louisville.edu> > | List Web page: > <http://erdos.math.louisville.edu/macgroup> > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
