Thanks, this method seemed to work. Although I'm sure that I did not  
employ this tactic before.
Maybe it was a program that I downloaded that did this for me  
automatically.
I thought perhaps that it was a setting in PithHelmet, but I could  
not find it.

also, for anyone that isn't familiar with PithHelmet, I'd highly  
suggest that you try it out. It is a site preference and ad blocking  
plug in for Safari.
Whenever I'm not on a mac using it, I am surprised by all the adverts  
and such on the webpages that I frequently visit.
The internet is so much uglier without ad blocking.
