Hey LLL,

No, but the bulk of my past experience was selling/troubleshooting in
prepress environments to the majority of local commercial printers. Your
Xitron Harlequin RIP is more than likely just a Postscript Level 3 software
based RIP which will be seen on your network as just an ordinary postscript
printer. However, what may make or break the total functionality you wish
to achieve is obtaining and installing the necessary .ppd files (printer
description files). Those are usually supplied by the manufacturer.

Other than that, this should not be any monumental objective to achieve.

Subject: MacGroup: PRINTING FROM PANTHER TO A RIP

Hi list,

Is anyone out there in a prepress/printing environment using Panther
and printing to a Xitron Harlequin rip?

Thanks - LLL
