I am about to have this German channel installed. However, this is only
offered through Dish Satellite Network. I also want to use the screen
(flat and in the process of purchase) as monitor with the new
mac-mini which I envision to purchase!? - Does anybody have any
experience with the Dish Company? What Louisville based independent
dealer in this would anybody recommend? I called a number of them, but
to tell the truth, they don't seem to know much more than I do and I
would prefer not to set it up with the people in New Jersey, because
they don't tell me who locally puts the thing in. They told me they
have CompUSA do this, but CompUSA does not have a contract with them
anymore -( you see the trust you can put in anything anybody tells
you!) I am worrying about the setting up of this Dish on my roof (
which still sprouts an antenna from a former analog set-up for Deutsche
Welle and can't be used anymore. ) - I simply don't want somebody to
come out and tell me : Lady, I am just doing what I am supposed to do,
but have no idea about programming this thing or even how the remote
works, it's the company's job to do that.- You know the line and
general run-around. - Maybe some of you experts can shed some light on
my endeavors before I commit to the least experienced. Thanks.
