Rex, thanks so very much for your info, too. I would want to have it
installed additionally to my cable anyway, because I have that bundle
with Insight TV and broadband and telephone. I would want them to run a
separate line to a small TV (15 or 17 inch probably at the utmost 20)
which I can also use as monitor for the mac-mini I am itching to buy ,
just because it is so cute and has such a slick design! ( I should have
my head examined!!) - As to the DVR that comes through Dish, I was
told it doesn't do all the TiVo thing. Of course, I probably would
hardly ever even record anything - it is just me and my curiosity. -
Now, if I would even buy a Tivo, would I not be charged a monthly fee
anyhow, or could I then do as I please. Right now Dish gives you the
machine, but charges you $ 5.00 a month to do your recordings for so
many hours. Sometimes I prefer buying somethng and get over the
lifelong payments. Thanks for your input.
