Hey Mike, any advice on camcorders?

Got the point about the difference between iMovie and Final Cut, how
important is it to get a high resolution camcorder?

Refered by the "Ward of the Bard" to Murphy's, and to Canon, I
searched the web for something of decent quality and as economical as
possible.  Somewhere between the Elura 65 and the Optima 40, I started
leaning towards the Optima for the almost double resolution.

What's important?  What really matters?

Pretty much decided on Final Cut Express as a necessary investment,
are these choices, the Elura 65 or the Optima 40, reasonable?
