I have a dozen or so older Macs -- ranging from Performas to 7200's to
early iMacs -- about half a dozen older 15" monitors, a passel of ADB
keyboards and who knows what all miscellaneous cables, cards, modems
and accessories that we have accumulated over the past 10 years here at
Louisville Magazine. I would estimate that one third to one half of
this equipment works in some fashion or other, the rest is probably
junk, suitable for parts only.

Because of an upcoming office renovation, I need to get rid of all of
this stuff. I would prefer to recycle it or give it someone who might
be able to make some use of it. Would anyone reading this list want
this stuff (I really would prefer to get rid of all it in one fell
swoop rather than having it picked through)?

If not, does anyone know of a good recycling option? I know that the
city recycling centers will take old computer equipment from
businesses, but the businesses must pay 20 cents per pound. Obviously I
would prefer to give it away rather than pay.

Feel free to reply off-list if you would prefer.
