I checked MacZones' web site and they offer a similar set (Benwin CLT-30) for $35. See the following web page: http://www.maczone.com/cgi-bin/zones/site/product/index.html?id=000554430 Clicking ?View Similar Products on that page will show 20 or so other powered speakers priced up to about $100. A lot of other vendors offer audio systems for computers but this should start you off. Keep in mind you want ?powered speakers since the amplifiers in your laptop will not provide enough power to drive external speakers. Good luck Bill King | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be September 23. The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>. | This list's page is <http://erdos.math.louisville.edu/macgroup>. Tom, Just checked my speakers. The amplifiers for all three speakers is in the subwoofer, so you have to have it hooked up. Sorry, no travel mode. The model CLT-30 speakers appear to hookup the same way. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
