Also, Shreve (shrevesystems.com) advertises a refurbed LaserWriter LS for
$69. I can offer no testimony except that the stuff I've ordered from there
has come as advertised. Pricing is unpredictable.

I believe mega macs has a 4/600 for around $89 which also uses postcript and is
a much lighter printer. I gave one away to a little girl across the street.

I am looking for a cdrw drive for my sons beige G3 and one for my blue and
white. (e-mail me with prices) used at least 24x read

I am looking for some dimms and 56k modems and power supplys for someof the
5200's that I gave some kids.

I think both units only have 16 megs of memory.

I also need batteries for some of the older powerbooks, like the 145's, and
180,s.

I am also looking for software for these machines, as I have a couple of more
to give away.

I am looking for donations of this stuff.

Free Monitors

And in the same respect, I get some 17" monitors once in a while, and I don't
have any place to store this stuff, presently I have a 14" monitor, and
possibly a 15" let me know and I will see if I have a good one. ( e-mail me:

Scholars Program

My 16 year old is a scholar student. (they save bonus buck at the end of the
year, and they buy computers, etc.) Usually the seniors get the computers and
laptops, as they are going off to college.

My son has a beige G3 and a powerbook 1400/G3 that was given to us from this
list.

This is what some of the scholars need, at least G3 machines or better, some
may even be able to use the all in ones, 5200's or so.

If any one has something like an I mac or powerbooks that maybe some of the
less fortunate kids can use you can contact the Lincoln Foundation here
locally, or I can give you their phone number. They would know which students
have the most need.(I would imagine that these kids would even accept one of
them other machines aka, 386 or so).

Thanks

Steve Brown
