Oops,

I just found where mail stores its info, and it's not the same place
powermail stores its data:

                yourharddrive//users/yourusername//library//mail


The files there are different than the files for powermail.

Still I would erase deleted messages and rebuild. It can't hurt.

But duplicate the mail folder first.
