Hi George, Your Type 3 error is a low level system error (don?t bother looking up the precise definition for it. It won?t mean anything to you).
Go back to the basics. Work thru the following steps until your problem goes away. Run diagnostics (Disk First Aid, Norton?s Disk Doctor, Disk Warrior etc.) and repair all problems. Set your Extensions Manager to ?OS __ all? and restart. Temporarily remove any fonts other than Apple?s fonts and restart. Perform a clean install of your OS. Before you begin, it would be helpful to remove any third party external peripherals that are currently attached just to simplify the equation. Good Luck!
