Harry, I run a PowerComputing 604/120 with a G-3CPU. I have 3 External SCSI drives and one internal SCSI. All together, I have some 8 partitions.
I have a 40 gb FireWire drive running off an OrangeMacro Firewire/USB card in one of the slots on the computer. I have 8 partitions on the FW drive, one for each SCSI drive. I use REDUX, a shareware backup program that is GREAT. I have it set to do an incremental backup on each drive every night, between 2 and 4 a.m. After the initial backup, only items that have been changed are backed up. All backups are in a "finder" format to fixing a corrupted file, or even an entire drive, is just a matter of drag and drop from the FW partition to the proper SCSI one. Did that cover it all? -=Mike=- The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will be September 25. For more information, see <http://www.aye.net/~lcs>.
