iPhoto surely has something to recommend it, but I do not see it.
It saves in a lossey format.
It doesn't offer many editing tools.
If you edit pix with GraphicConverter or PhotoShop and return the
them to iPhoto,
iPhoto messes up.
When you drag out copies, iPhoto messes up.
(I now use iPhoto Extractor).
Can't I sort pictures into folders, burn CD's, email pix etc as well
without iPhoto.
What does it offer?
If you know, please enlighten me.
I don't know what data comes out of the camera,
date taken, date edited, exposure data, ratings, comments, gamma?...
nor how to see it,
but I'd like to, and don't want to loose data.
Does downloading with GC get the same data that iFoto gets?
