OS10.3.9 on flat-panel Mac 700mhz G4 So I installed Norton Utilities, which did not ask for any password.
It said to restart the computer. I did, and instantly got a message: "System extension cannot be used. "The System extension "/System/Library/Extensions/SymOSXKernelUtilities.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update." I searched on the Apple support site for "SymOSXKernelUtilities.kext", but found nothing. The computer seems to be doing fine. Should I worry? or is it just that Norton won't work.
