Beth --
My daughter is in grad school, and has switched to DSL, but still uses
the AOL-authored AIM with no problem. I use Bellsouth DSL and am
pleased with it. I use the iChat, she uses AIM, and there is no
problem.

Setup was a snap for me. I use an AirPort Extreme base station, and we
have had three laptops (a G4 and two Dells) all running at the same
time with no problems. We don't have a printer set up as part of the
network because it isn't needed, so I don't have experience with that.
