Any solutions?

This is a strange one, don't know what I am doing wrong.

I use Apple's Mail, works great, just upgraded to Tiger, all is fine,
other than when I hit a reply the text that I am responding to stays
BLACK, rather than going to blue or some other designated color.

When you go into Mail Preferences, then into the fonts and colors, it
shows that the level one to be blue, level two, green, and level
three red. This is as it was in Panther, yet a reply would have the
text that I was replying to colored blue. The checkbox that
designates to use the colored text is checked.

What am I doing wrong, what settings need to be changed.

I wouldn't think it would matter, but this is running on a single 1.8
G5 desktop.

Many thanks for your suggestions.
