Hello everyone! I seem to have stumped Apple and Macromedia with this one.
I have tried to install Macromedia's Flash Player 7. The installation always runs smooth until it gets down to the last 3 items to install. Then, everything freezes or locks up. The window says it is searching my hard drive. I am assuming it is looking for a place to put these last 3 items, but it never does... even if I wait for days. I have noticed that I can view sites with Flash content with IE, but not for Safari (even though Macromedia says Flash is compatable with Safari). The installation was a success for IE. I can only assume that those last three items that are NOT installed are the key to Safari compatability. Has anyone had any trouble installing Flash? Especially with Safari? I have already completed the troubleshooting steps at Macromedia. They now say to contact Apple because there is nothing they can do. And of course, Apple cannot help (and I understand) because it is not their software. Any ideas? Thanks for taking time to read this. -Troy _________________________________________________________________ Lose those love handles!
