Been there, done it all!! I even now have a printer utility alias in my
favorites. That makes four altogether , 2 in dock one on desktop and
then the new one suggested by the article from Apple. But as you
already read and I now am reading as well, the utility might not work
at all with OSX 2.6 etc. So, this is what is happening, I really
cannot get the utility to work and show me the cartridges on this Mac.
This is also why the configure icon is dimmed. So, I wasn't that dumb
after all. I can print alright, but I cannot print with finesse. Since
this is just such a cheap printer given to me as BONUS, maybe I shall
search now for a printer that is compatible. I shall check with Epson
as well as with Apple. - And Ward, you tell me what you mean when you
say that I should know that the printer works as it should in OSX and
why? Did you mean to tell me that I should be happy that it works at
all, being such a cheapy?
