Your printer is compatible with OS-X. And yes you can access all (actually a few more) of the features that you could / can in OS-9.
To access these hidden features (and more) download and install Gimp-Print. That latest version is 4.3.14 released on May 11, 2003. This newest version is more for those that know how to compile their own programs. If you want to download an earlier version that has an OS-X installer (highly recommended) then go to the following location: http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3 You will need to download and install ESP Ghostscript as well. So download both, install Ghostscript first then Gimp-Print, making sure that your have your printer turned on when you install Gimp-Print. Then, when you are ready to print, you will be able to access printer features that are not available in OS-9 or regular OS-X. Jerry p.s. Gimp-Print supports a wide range of ink-jet and laser printers other than Epson. Usually, GP gives much better output than the drivers supplied by the manufacturer does.
