You might find what you're looking for if you check out an application called Popmonitor at:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/email_chat/popmonitorx.html It allows you to check the mail on your POP server before your mail reader downloads it. It'll show you all of the header information, the size and the first 10-20 lines of the message. You can delete any message you want from the server without downloading. The link above takes you to the OSX version. There's a version for 8.x-9.x also. I've been using it for months now and I love it. rob Kelly Svarstad wrote: > Is there any way to check the properties of incoming email addresses? > > Things I'm looking for are things like IP addresses, email sizes, and > various incoming server info. > > thanks in advance > > -KRS > > | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will > | be May 27.
