What you are seeing is the new kernel panic alert. OS 10.2.5 caused
lots of these, usually tied to external USB devices, such as hubs. OS
10.2.6 should have fixed this. You might try downloading and installing
the 10.2.6 combo updater. It tends to fix things the standard updater
doesn't.

We just got our copy of DiskWarrior 3.0 this week. I haven't used the
boot CD it comes on, but I did create a boot CD with a utility called,
appropriately enough, BootCD. The CD that it creates is
SSSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWW booting, but once it does, you have access to
Terminal, Console, network functionality, and any utilities you have
chosen when you create your disk. I created a new disk and added
DiskWarrior. It took about 10-15 minutes or so to boot my G4/dual 867,
but once it came up, DW worked like a charm. Someone said if you make
the RAM disk 64MB, it speeds things up a little. I'd hate to see it
with the standard config!

Hope this helps!
