You may be able to get Apple to pay for it, depending on its age. I know of 
people who have had good luck and no luck with Apple's promised repair.

Bill's TV sounds like a good idea, but maybe it's a sign you need a new, bigger 
monitor? The money you'll spend on repair may be enough to get you a nice 19 or 
21 incher.
