What it is
PsyncX is a free backup utility based on a command-line script written by
Dan Kogai <dankogai at dan.co.jp>.  You can download it from his website at
<www.dan.co.jp/cases/macosx/backup-volume.html>  Or you can use the PsyncX
package to install it and the PsyncX GUI.

What it does
Psync allows you to backup either part or all of your hard drive.  You can
mirror your selected folder to a FireWire drive, a disk image, or a network
drive.  In addition, psync will create a bootable drive if you mirror your
entire harddrive.  PsyncX allows you to schedule regular backups as well.
(Note: your computer can't be asleep for this to work properly).
