1. did you reboot after installing the driver? 2. is the printer selected in 'printer setup utility' 3. is the printer selected in systems preferences, 'print&fax'
if that's a no go, i have had good luck with epson printers. my current favorite all around consumer epson 'letter size' printer is the R200/220. best...skip (i have an 820 that you can have for $20, or a 2200 13x19 for $145, both would need new carts. free shipping to the waddy/peytona flying j truck stop).
