Haven't gotten around much on equipment lately and can't say much
about Fantom Drives themselves, but here're my prefs:

I like LaCie desktop drives (Porsche Design), which are now in a bargin
mode with most resellers, as well as the LaCie website (also recon
units).
For graphics storage and access, I prefer Firewire units; for music
storage,
I like USB units. With that in mind, I recently got a
reconditioned USB
250 GB drive for $80. MacMall has 250 GB Firewire drives for $135,
and ClubMac should have similar deals.
As Lee mentions (and jf in the past), there are several makers that also
have models that do match the Mini's footprint:
Newer Tech, LaCie, as well as Fantoms' own MiniMate, to name a few.

Regards,
Russ Preston
