you are safer getting you files off the boot drive, so i actually  
applaud you Mini decision. my criticism of your linked file is that  
it's usb2, i would prefer the higher transmission speed of a firewire  
enclosure. 7200rpm disk speed for certain. i bought one from [1]  
macsales for onsite backup of client macs?who didn't backup before  
they crashed :) not so fond of lacie these days. best...jf
