Hi Jerry,

Have you already done the usual kinds of things, like restart?  ...or
  select a different color model, use it, restart, switchback, try it  
again?
  DiskTools for file structure and/or for Permissions? (I know, I know;
  but watch for what it repairs, if anything).  How about those pesky
  little preferences -- the one(s) associated with the Apple Color  
Picker?
Any immediately recent installs that might have introduced a conflict?

If you haven't, perhaps try checking these things, just in case.
